What's the deal with the meals? Are they fresh or frozen? And how long do they last once I get them?

They're frozen meals. They come in an insulated box. You can keep them in the fridge for a few days, but mostly they're meant to go straight into the freezer.

Yeah, definitely frozen. If you pop them in the freezer right away, they last for quite a while, like a couple of months at least. Super handy to have on hand for quick meals.

They do sometimes! I've gotten emails with 'reactivation' codes if I paused my subscription for a while. Not as frequent as new member stuff though.

Rarely, in my experience. It's mostly first-timer discounts. Sometimes they do referral credits if you get someone else to sign up, but that's about it for existing folks usually, afaik.

I tried both. BistroMD felt more like a structured diet plan, with the dietitian input and specific programs for things like diabetes. Factor75 felt more like just healthy meal prep without the 'diet' aspect as much. Depends what you're looking for.

BistroMD definitely has more of a weight loss focus built into the whole system. Factor is good food, but I found I had to be more disciplined myself. BistroMD takes more of the guesswork out.

Honestly, for diet food, they're pretty good! Not gourmet restaurant quality obviously, but definitely edible and some are even surprisingly delicious. Way better than I expected.

Some are really good, some are just 'fine'. It's frozen, so keep that in mind. I usually add my own spices or a little hot sauce to kick it up a notch. Still, super convenient.

Yeah, you can totally skip weeks. I do it all the time when I'm traveling or just have too much food in the fridge. Super easy to do online.

You can skip, but just make sure you do it before their cutoff day for that week's order. I think it's Wednesday EST or something like that? Double check the site.
